Safehands Green Start Nursery in Blackpool
Safehands Green Start Nursery Blackpool is based at Blackpool football ground and is a 92 place childrens 
day nursery which opened in 2005.
Here at Blackpool we are proud of our Ofsted rating of "Good" with outstanding grading for working in partnerships. We have a very enthusiastic team of staff who are all trained to a high standard.
At Blackpool we have a 24 place baby unit, which is divided into two sections. One section is for babies who are under 1 yrs and the other section is for our over 1 year olds. Our baby room has its own kitchen where we can prepare bottles and food.
We have a 20 place two year old room, a 24 place Tweenies room, which is from the ages of two and a half years to three and a half years and a 24 place pre-school room.
All children have a key person who forms relationships with you and your child to help them to feel safe and secure whilst at nursery. Your child's Key person will be responsible for creating your child's learning journey during their time at nursery, this is a fabulous keep sake for you to keep once your child leaves nursery.
Our outdoor area includes an area for the children to grow their own fruit and vegetables, a shaded area and a den making area. We encourage children to explore through both child and adult initiated play using both our indoor and outdoor environments. We provide three balanced meals a day, as well as snacks which are all prepared and cooked by our qualified cook, who has 25 years experience.
At Blackpool we provide a minibus service for parents who require this. We pick children up in a morning from their homes and then drop them back off in an evening for just £2.50.
We also have nursery cam at Safehands Green Start Nursery Blackpool, this has been a huge success with our parents who all access the system and enjoy being part of their childs day at nursery.
