Safehands Network Ltd was originally founded in 1997 in Thornton-Cleveleys by Stephanie & Gary Farrer. Both business professionals and parents of 3 children, they developed a nationwide company that specialises in high quality childcare related services. In the early years, Safehands initially provided a professional evening babysitting service across the North West, now 10 years on, the services has been extended to deliver a wide selection of childcare solutions across the U.K. 
Having service level agreements with national hotel chains that include Hilton, De’Vere, Copthorne, Paramount and Marsden, the service provides babysitting to over 850 hotels and thousands of domestic homes with over 3500 qualified, screened and CRB carers available nationwide.
Safehands also deliver a national mobile crèche service for weddings, and conferences including a selection of party packages for children. As well as managing regulated out-of-school-holiday clubs and indoor activity centres like Sharkees situated at Freeport Fleetwood, the company is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection to work in partnership with local authorities to support families that have children with disabilities and terminal illnesses. All these services make the Safehands brand unique and synonymous with professionalism, quality, service and value.
